FAQ

HOW DO THE CONTACTS LOOK ON MY DARK EYES?

Most natural colored lenses look different on each person’s eye – darker eye colors will mix with the lens color. This can be a problem if e.g. someone with dark brown eyes wants bright blue eyes – very different with natural colored lenses.

Regarding crazy lenses for costumes this won’t be that much of a problem in most cases. The colors or motives on the lenses will most likely not affected by your own eye color!

HOW OFTEN CAN I WEAR MY CONTACTS?

This always depends on your personal care – keep them hygienic and clean them every day in solution fluid then you can wear them as often as you want and as long as it is recommended by the manufacturer. From Daily to Lenses you can wear up to a year long!

DO THE LENSES FIT MY EYES / CAN I WEAR EVERY LENS PROPERLY?

This depends on your individual eye size and your recommandations from your eye doctor.

But in most cases the lenses have standardized sizes developed for most people’s eyes.

They will look different, but you should be able to wear every common lens out there without problems – Except you have e.g. astigmatism then you need some lenses especially designed for that (toric lenses).

HOW IS THE WEARING COMFORT?

In most cases this depends on your individual eye proportions – most lenses will be noticeable in the first few minutes, after that you won’t notice them at all or at least they won’t bother your. If you are new to contacts and you will notice something for a longer period of time please contact an eye doctor ASAP!

CAN I BUY CONTACTS WITHOUT A VALID PRESCRIPTION?

If you are a US citizen you will be given a prescription from your prescriber – in Europe this is your own choice. In most european countries you can buy the lenses where you want and with or without a prescription. In the US however you will need a valid prescription to buy contacts online! We do not want to bypass that law but our users will originate from all over the world – the US has the most strict law regarding contacts!

If you are from the US and want to buy contacts without prescription this possible but we won’t suggest that!

CAN CONTACT LENSES DAMAGE MY EYES?

Wearing contact lenses is safe in most cases – damage is mostly caused by wearing contact lenses too long, unhygienic use or using them longer than intended.

Please contact your eye doctor for instructions or read or ours if something is unclear to you!
